In the first ever collaboration of the Illinois Art Therapy Association (IATA) and the Illinois Association for Music Therapy (IAMT), "Drawing Outside the Music, Singing Outside the Canvas: A Dialogue between Art Therapists and Music Therapists," will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about the unique benefits of each other's modalities via lecture, experiential learning, and cooperative discussion.  This full day event will also explore ideas of how music therapists and art therapists can ethically and effectively work together, thus serving as a springboard for future collaborations.
The event will be held at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, located at 225 E. Chicago Avenue.  Pre-registration pricing is $30 for members, $50 for non members, and $15 for students.
