Guests are invited to tour the studios, meet the artists, and enjoy an evening immersed in local art, music and performance. The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 7pm - Midnight, with a VIP preview at 6pm, at their gallery and studios at Fulton and Damen, 2000 W Fulton Street, 2nd & 3rd Floors, Chicago, 60612. A suggested donation of $10 directly supports the cost of materials and programming. Twice a year, the Fulton Street Collective opens its doors to the public to showcase the members’ artwork, the mission of the collective, and the work of their partner organizations. FSC supporters and new visitors alike are invited to enjoy small bites and beverages while supporting Chicago’s vibrant and innovative art scene. The event offers a unique opportunity for guests to experience a behind-the-scenes look inside the studios of local artists working in a range of media. A program of live music, dance, and performance art will complement the visual art exhibition. Fulton Street Collective is organizing a powerful roster of artists, musicians, and performance groups to participate this year. Entertainment will include live performances on both floors every hour including performances by Laboratory Dancers and Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble. A members’ exhibition organized by Karen Parisian, Jenny Stocker, and Kevin O'Rourke will be on view in the main gallery. The show will feature a selection of work by FSC members and include painting, printmaking, glass, sculpture, photography, and digital media.
