1000 Paper Cranes Project Fundraising Event for Japanese Tsunami Victims Date: Thursday, April 14, 2011 Time: 6:30pm ~ 9:30pm Place: Fulton Street Collective Address: 2000 W. Fulton St. (Damon/ W. Lake) Event includes: wine, appetizers, live jazz music and origami art making, T-shirt sales, bake sale Suggested donation $ 10 per person All artists and sponsors will be donating their time and efforts and ALL PROCEEDS (100%) will go to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund The ancient Japanese tradition of senbazuru promises that a person who folds 1000 cranes will be granted a wish, such as long life or recovery from illness. Many times a family or group of people come together to accomplish this labor of love.
