Chicago area native Ryan Miller began his art career painting along with Bob Ross videos as a diversion from his life as one of Chicago's top-call freelance musicians.
Art became a passion, and he quickly traded landscapes of mighty mountains and happy little trees for abstractions heavily influenced by the post-war expressionists of the New York School.
In 2020 he had solo installations at The Andersonville Galleria, The Dye! Salon in Chicago, and The Fulton Street collective. His art projects have expanded to include public murals and live painting demonstrations, and his work can now be seen in homes and public installations all over the country and the world.
